How do I create a new countdown or count-up event?
Tap the "+" button on the home screen. Enter your event name, pick a date and time, choose whether it's a countdown or count-up, and optionally select a background image from your photo library.
Can I set a custom background image for my event?
Yes! When creating or editing an event, tap the image area to choose a photo from your library. EverGlow will ask for photo library permission the first time you do this.
How do I edit or delete an event?
Tap on any event to open it, then use the edit or delete options. You have full control over all your events at any time.
How do notifications work?
EverGlow uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming events and alert you when a countdown reaches zero. All notifications are generated on your device — nothing is sent through external servers. You can manage notification permissions in your device's Settings app.
Is my data backed up or synced to the cloud?
No. All your data is stored locally on your device only. If you uninstall the app, your data will be permanently deleted. We do not store any data on our servers.
How do I restore my purchase / unlock premium features?
Open EverGlow and go to the premium section. Tap "Restore Purchases" to restore any previous purchases linked to your Apple ID. If the issue persists, please contact us via email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device to view, modify, or cancel your EverGlow subscription.
The app is crashing or not working properly. What should I do?
Try the following steps:
- Make sure you're running the latest version of EverGlow from the App Store.
- Restart the app by closing it completely and reopening it.
- Restart your device.
- If the issue continues, email us at openloop.studios@gmail.com with a description of the problem and your device model / iOS version.
Why does EverGlow need access to my photos?
EverGlow only accesses your photo library when you choose to set a background image for an event or save a shared event card to your gallery. We never upload or share your photos.
