Introduction

EverGlow ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

EverGlow stores all your data locally on your device. We collect and store:

• Event Information: Event dates, times, and types (countdown/count-up)
• Custom Images: Background images you choose for your events
• App Preferences: Your settings and preferences within the app
• Subscription Status: Whether you have purchased premium features

Information We Do NOT Collect (EverGlow itself)

• We do not operate our own servers for your countdown data
• We do not upload your events, photos, or notes to our own backend
• We do not access your contacts
• We do not sell your countdown content to data brokers

Advertising: When you are not a premium subscriber, the app may show ads through Google AdMob. The ad SDK can collect device and usage data for advertising and measurement as described under Third-Party Services below.

How We Use Your Information

Event names, dates, images you attach, and preferences you set in EverGlow are:

• Stored locally on your device by default
• Used to provide countdown and count-up features
• Not uploaded to our servers

Ads (free tier) are loaded from Google; see Third-Party Services for how advertising may use device-related data.

Photo Library Access

EverGlow requests access to your photo library for the following purposes:

• To allow you to select background images for your events
• To save shared event images to your photo gallery

Your photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose to:

• Select a background image for an event
• Save a shared event card to your gallery

We do not upload, store, or share your photos anywhere outside your device.

Notifications

EverGlow uses local notifications to:

• Remind you of upcoming events
• Alert you when countdowns reach zero

These notifications are generated entirely on your device. We do not collect any data from these notifications, and they are not sent through any external servers.

In-App Purchases

If you choose to purchase premium features:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Subscription status is stored locally on your device
• RevenueCat may be used to manage subscriptions (see their privacy policy)

Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data security depends on your device's security
• We recommend using device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID
• Data is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app
• We cannot recover your data if lost

Children's Privacy

EverGlow does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not contain any content specifically directed at children.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app
• Modify: You can edit or delete any event at any time
• Delete: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all your data
• Export: Currently, data export is not available (no cloud storage)

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (advertising, free tier)

• When you use the app without an active premium subscription, we may show ads using the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK.
• Google may collect and process data such as device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID where permitted), IP address (which can be used to infer coarse location), ad interaction data, and diagnostic/performance data to deliver and measure ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s AdMob iOS data disclosure.
• On iOS, personalized ads may involve Apple’s App Tracking Transparency when applicable.
• Premium: Subscribers are not shown these banner ads in the current app build.

RevenueCat (for subscription management)

• Privacy Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
• Used only to manage in-app purchase subscriptions
• Does not access your EverGlow event content or background images

Apple App Store

• Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
• Handles all payment processing for in-app purchases
